Pokémon Mini Tins 2026: what’s inside, every design, and which to buy

A Pokémon Mini Tin is the small, roughly ten-dollar way into a new set: two booster packs, a sticker sheet and an art card that lines up with the other tins in its wave. Three waves are on shelves in 2026, with 20 designs between them. Here is what each one contains, which designs exist, and how to buy the one you actually want.

The short answer

Every Pokémon Mini Tin holds two booster packs, one sticker sheet and one art card.

  • Newest: the 30th Celebration wave, out , has ten designs that form a day scene and a night scene.
  • Easiest to pick a design: Lumiose City. Amazon lists most of its designs individually, so you choose the Pokémon instead of gambling on random art.
  • Cheapest way to a full set: five tins for Lumiose City or Ascended Heroes, ten for 30th Celebration. A ten-tin display only guarantees every design when the wave has ten designs.

A Mini Tin is a collectible first and a pack deal second. You get half the packs of a regular tin and no promo card. Buy it for the art, as a gift, or to open a couple of packs; don't buy it hoping to profit.

Contents

What is inside a Pokémon Mini Tin?

Pokémon’s own product pages list the same core contents for every 2026 wave. The only differences are which booster packs go in, and whether there is a Pokémon TCG Live code card.

  1. The tin

A palm-sized rectangular metal tin with a hinged lid. The lid art is what you are collecting.

  2. 2 booster packs

Always two. Which set they come from depends on the wave; see the table below.

  3. 1 art card

Shows the tin’s artwork. Line up the cards from one wave and they join into a single scene.

  4. 1 sticker sheet

    Themed stickers for the wave.

  5. TCG Live code card

Listed by Pokémon for the 30th Celebration and Lumiose City tins, but not for Ascended Heroes.

Illustrations show the parts of a Mini Tin, not any real product. Pokémon does not publish a price on these pages; US launch prices reported by retailers sit around $10 a tin.

Launch
Packs
two Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration booster packs
Designs
10, two panoramas, one by day and one by night, five tins each

The 30th Celebration Mini Tins arrived on October 2, 2026, the newest wave by four months. Ten designs split into two panoramas: five daytime tins and five night-time tins. Pikachu is the only Pokémon to appear in both, once by day and once by night.

Pokémon’s product page lists two 30th Celebration booster packs, a sticker sheet, an art card and a TCG Live code card in every tin. Retailer listings describe each 30th Celebration pack as five foil cards plus a foil Basic Energy; we could not confirm that on pokemon.com.

Day scene
  1. Espeon
  2. Pikachu
  3. Mew
  4. Lapras
  5. Moltres
Night scene
  1. Umbreon
  2. Pikachu
  3. Mewtwo
  4. Zapdos
  5. Greninja

Sprites show which Pokémon appear on each tin; they are not the tin artwork.

Because this wave has exactly ten designs, a ten-tin display is the one case where a box can hold the full set. Retailers sell it that way, but the only ten-tin listing we found on Amazon when we checked came from a third-party seller with limited stock, so we don’t link to it. Wherever you buy one, check that the listing says one of each design.

Lumiose City Mini Tins

Launch
Packs
two Pokémon TCG booster packs
Designs
5, one panorama of Lumiose City across all five tins

Each Lumiose City tin pairs a big Pokémon with a small one, with Lumiose City behind them. Line up all five and you get one continuous picture of Lumiose City.

The packs are where sources disagree. Pokémon’s page only says “2 Pokémon TCG booster packs”, Amazon’s listing calls them assorted and says packs may vary, and several retailers report one Chaos Rising and one Perfect Order pack. Expect two current Mega Evolution-era packs rather than a guaranteed pair.

Lumiose City
  1. Salamence & Litleo
  2. Meganium & Meowstic
  3. Emboar & Inkay
  4. Feraligatr & Budew
  5. Gallade & Goomy

Sprites show which Pokémon appear on each tin; they are not the tin artwork.

This is the wave where you can choose your design: Amazon lists Meganium & Meowstic, Gallade & Goomy, Salamence & Litleo and Feraligatr & Budew individually. We did not find a single Emboar & Inkay listing when we checked. The ten-tin display doesn’t say how its tins split across the five designs, and ten tins can’t be one of each, so buy singles if you want exactly one full panorama.

Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes Mini Tins

Launch
Packs
two Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes booster packs
Designs
5, one panorama: a grassy meadow below a snowy mountain range

The Ascended Heroes tins are the cutest wave: starters, baby Pokémon and other small favourites, paired up across a grassy meadow with snowy mountains behind it. Each tin has two Mega Evolution—Ascended Heroes booster packs, a sticker sheet and an art card. Pokémon’s page does not list a TCG Live code card for this wave.

Meadow and mountains
  1. Riolu & Delibird
  2. Clefairy & Chikorita
  3. Pikachu & Tepig
  4. Togepi & Totodile
  5. Zorua & Cramorant

Sprites show which Pokémon appear on each tin; they are not the tin artwork.

The Amazon listing is random art, so you can’t pick the design. If you want a specific pair, Pikachu & Tepig for example, a local shop where you can see the tin is the safer bet.

Buying tips

How to buy Mini Tins on Amazon without overpaying

  1. Look at who sells it.Under the buy button Amazon shows “Ships from” and “Sold by”. New releases can show up from third-party sellers first, sometimes well above launch price.
  2. Use about $10 a tin as your yardstick. That’s roughly what each wave launched at in the US. For a display, compare the total with ten single tins before deciding it’s a deal.
  3. Read the title for “Random Art”.Random listings pick the design for you. Named listings like “Meganium/Meowstic” tell you exactly which tin arrives.
  4. Check the wave name, not just “Mini Tin”.Older Mini Tins from past years still show up in search results, and their packs come from much older sets.
  5. Check the contents when it arrives.Make sure both packs, the art card and the sticker sheet are there while the return window is still open.

The regular-tin column uses the Ascended Heroes Tin as the example: Pokémon lists four Ascended Heroes packs and one foil promo of Mega Meganium ex, Mega Emboar ex or Mega Feraligatr ex. If you want playable promo cards and more packs, a regular tin is the better buy. If you want something small and collectible, the Mini Tin is.

Quick answers

Pokémon Mini Tin FAQ

What comes in a Pokémon Mini Tin?

Two booster packs, one sticker sheet and one art card showing the tin’s artwork. The 30th Celebration and Lumiose City tins also list a Pokémon TCG Live code card.

How many packs are in a Pokémon Mini Tin?

Two booster packs in every 2026 wave. A regular Pokémon tin has four.

How much is a Pokémon Mini Tin?

Pokémon does not publish a price on its product pages. US retailers launched the 2026 waves at about $10 per tin, and marketplace sellers often charge more for new releases.

How many Pokémon Mini Tin designs are there in 2026?

Twenty: ten for 30th Celebration, five for Lumiose City and five for Ascended Heroes.

Are Pokémon Mini Tin designs random?

It depends on the listing. Some are sold as random art, while Lumiose City tins are mostly sold by named design, such as Meganium & Meowstic.

What packs are in the Lumiose City Mini Tin?

Pokémon only says two Pokémon TCG booster packs, and Amazon’s listing says packs may vary. Several retailers report one Chaos Rising pack and one Perfect Order pack.

Do the Mini Tin art cards connect?

Yes. The art cards in one wave combine into a larger scene: one for Lumiose City, one for Ascended Heroes, and two (day and night) for 30th Celebration.

Does a Mini Tin display include every design?

Only when the wave has ten designs, as 30th Celebration does, and the listing says one of each. A ten-tin display of a five-design wave cannot hold exactly one of each.

Method

Sources and how we checked

  • Launch dates and contents: Pokémon’s product pages for the 30th Celebration, Lumiose City and Ascended Heroes Mini Tins, and the Ascended Heroes Tin for the comparison.
  • Which Pokémon are on each tin: retailer listings and collection reviews such as Coded Yellow (Lumiose City, Ascended Heroes) and PokémonBlog. We only list a design when at least two sources agree.
  • Lumiose City pack sets: retailer reports, for example Pokennoisseur, marked as unconfirmed because Pokémon doesn’t name the sets.
  • Amazon listings: titles and listing descriptions checked . Availability and sellers change daily.
